RCME HISTORY

WHO WE ARE

In 1973, John W. (Jack) Ramsay started Ramsay Equipment Company, which became a successful HVAC manufacturers' representative firm. In 1990 Jack went into partnership with Gregory P. Cohron, P.E., to form what is now Ramsay-Cohron Mechanical Equipment, Inc (RCME). Greg Cohron became sole owner in 2000 when Jack Ramsay retired.

RCME has continued to grow, presently representing 24 manufacturers of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. It has also developed a field service organization. Our factory trained servicemen service cooling towers and other HVAC equipment for many corporate and governmental clients.

In 1993, responding to a reoccurring need on many of the projects that bid, Greg and Jack formed Custom-Flo, Inc. The new company manufacturers skid-mounted pumping systems and control panels. Custom-Flo now sells its products through manufacturer's representatives throughout the country, including RCME, Inc. (Cincinnati/Dayton market areas).

In addition to HVAC, industrial & process cooling, Custom-Flo had developed SCADA system for use in industrial plants and security systems presently being used in correctional institutions. Our PC-based control systems provide non-proprietary solutions for owners and flexible interoperability.
